Being allowed to post on other members scam reports

i have seen a lot of threads in the Report A Scammer section where mods are asking for people to prove that one person posted their Skype/msn name on Sythe.org somewhere to link them to that specific name. I figured i would suggest letting other members post on peoples scam reports to help provide more evidence. Now of course this has some back draw to it as if someone is being accused of scamming and they could post on the scam report made by a different user it would probably be spam/raging. You could always make a rules sticky in the section to let people know they will be punished for spamming or posting anything that does not help the case.

I figure this would help the staff and also help the OP of the scam report.
I thought i saw a thread on something like this before but i can't seem to find it.

Thoughts?

 

This has been suggested before. I doubt it's going to happen. The only non staff members who can post on there are OMMs. If someone has something to add to a scam report they can PM the mod who is dealing with it.

 

Thanks for replying Laptop i couldn't find where it was suggested before so i am sure this will be denied. Pming some of the mods is almost pointless they are all pretty busy so i would figure being able to see the proof on the scam report instead of in a pm and then going back and forth looking at scam reports and pm would save the staff time and effort. Well it was just a suggestion.

 

I think this would be nice IF and ONLY IF the proof was of a PM between said scammer and another person with proof of the skype name in that PM.

However, how many people actually bother going to the Report-A-Scammer section and read the scam reports? I mean, I know I do... but then again I have no life (at times). :noworry:

 

I do it daily, and i know there are a few others who do too like Kenpen and Sengira to name a few. There have been times where i have reported a scammer and could not link them to where they said their skype/msn on skype bu i know that by looking at their posts/vouches they have added many well known people to skype and that those people could post on someones scam report to help everyone out.

 

No. If you have something to add, pm it to the staff member handling the report.
