The IRC Forum back

Well, since the IRC is back up, why don't we recreate the forum? Really the only place i belong.

 

Really? Sythe sponsors the Shawn controlled IRC? Or did Sythe find someone else to host an official one?

 

Someone else besides Sythe has always ran the IRC, or atleast since like, 2006? Shawn has ran it for like, more than a year?

 

No, Shawns is not affilated with Sythe. Sythe wanted specific rules, like banned Sythe members banned in IRC, to which Shawn didn't agree. He took back irc.sythe.org, so they are not connected in any way.

I vote yes for an IRC lounge though.

 

Yeah, either way, it's still nice to have an IRC Lounge, as a lot of the sythe IRC users still use irc (Shawn's).

 

You didn't hear about all that shit between Shawn and Sythe?

Sythe wanted mods to have powers on there, not allow anyone who has been banned on Sythe to be on the IRC, etc. Shawn refused.

So, as Ben said, Shawn's IRC is now an unofficial one. So, I don't think Sythe is going to allow a forum for it D:

For the last few days, I've seen him online almost 24/7. I was contemplating whether he ever slept or not.

Sythe is very active in the Something For All Section, and gets a lot done. A lot of people are unable to see what the Staff does, however, and really underappreciate all that is done.

 

Unfortunately it's not going to happen.
