How to make yourself admin on your server

this is how to make yourself an admin from the server i helped you create on my first topic.


1.open your server folder.
2.open the server folder inside it.
3.open the folder of the name of your server.
4.go to you characters folder.
5.click on the name of the person you wish to make mod/admin.(open with notepad)
6.locate where is says:
character-rights = 0
7.change the zero to one of the following:

1=moderator(silver crown)
2=server admin(gold crown)
3=server owner(gold crown)



8.when you are done, make sure to click the file tab at the top, and click save(make sure the player is not online, because it will not work.(tell them to log out before you click save.))

there you go... enjoy being a mod.

Also for 508 there is no owner rank just has 1 and 2 1 = mod and 2=admin which is closest to owner unless you code it urself in and for wartail it gives ability to spawn items,npcs and ban etc

 

You have to compile.

 

This seems pretty obvious.. but also don't forget on most 317's its 4 for a hidden admin.

How do you do the command for a mod. Like I can make someone a mod but I can't get the commands to work for them such as; ::mute ::ban ::kick ::item etc

 

I am wondering the same thing as Flight.... how does it work?..
Please explain a bit further.
