Lost 2FA

Hi there, my account on sythe is Elekon.

I upgraded my iphone and it transferred every apps but when I opened the authenticator it was empty. I just hit the 30 day period requesting authenticator and I cannot log in.

Hey Elekon

First off, if you saved it, enter your long 2FA backup code that you were prompted to keep when setting up 2FA where you would normally enter your short codes.

When requesting a 2FA removal, please note the administrative team needs proof of two or more of the following things:

• Post from a home IP
• Recovery phone number*
• Current registered email address
• Skype/Discord used in the past or present**
• If you have donated directly through PayPal;
  • Transaction date and amount
  • PayPal email

NOTES:
*Registering 2FA to your account does not automatically add your number as a recovery phone number, you would have needed to add this manually in your Account Settings.

**Third party account access (such as email and Skype/Discord) are not substantial verification methods - the whole point of registering 2FA to your account is to have EXTRA security past regular recovery methods.

Failure to provide aforementioned details when requesting 2FA removal may result in a delay.

If you cannot provide what is required, then you MUST prove without a reasonable doubt that you are the true owner of your account. If you are unable to do this, your 2FA will NOT be removed.

You can use your backup code to log in when it requests your 2FA code. Let me know if you run into any issues.
