so all the scientific aiethiest people say "oohh yeaa the universe is ever expanding"

so if the universe is ever expanding, then wat is the universe expanding into, and how did watever it is "expanding into" get there?

    well?

I'm not an Atheist and I believe the Universe is ever expanding..
Maybe you shouldn't be so quick to jump to generalizations.

well anybody, and im not diss'n on aiethiest at all, most of my friends are but im just sayn, most aiethiests are very scientific and the like, (evn tho i kinda am starting to be too) but anyway

wheres it going? where is the universe going into? is it just "nothing"? because even nothing is something so i mean, where?

if the universe is posta be "everything" thn where else can it go?

i guess that from a bibical standppoint, that it says "and God created the universe and everything in it" and Heaven isnt in the universe so maybe there is just emptiness between heavn and the universe, into which the universe is expanding, but then the universe couldnt expand into heaven so it would ahve to stop somewhere...

    Delete your double posts..

There is no evidence, biblical or not, that suggests Heaven is a physical space on the same dimension as this Universe. To say so would be ridiculous. If that were true- in theory, we would eventually be able to build space ships to fly to heaven..

The universe was designed, (or happened for all you Atheists out there) in a way that it could expand, and collapse. Ever heard of a black hole? They exist. All of the information we have on the universe isn't near complete or accurate. There are many things we have yet to learn.

I'm not sure what a black hole has to do with the expansion of the universe.

I was using it as an example of unexplained phenomenon in the universe, not suggesting it was responsible for expansion.

Very well. In that case, it is a reasonable object to hold up as "unexplained", though I think that for every year that goes by, we move closer to a complete understanding of them.
