Account Security and bot bans

Hi,

I've been wanting to get a 07 f2p pker to relive some childhood fun recently.

I'm just wondering what is Runescape Authenticator?

Is it still extremely easy for the original owner to recover an account and near impossible for the buyer?



If it looks like it's going to be to unsafe to buy an account from someone untrusted I'll probably look into botting one up, are the ban rates high?

As far as I can tell, TriBot is the most popular/safest?

Only pushing str and range to around 80.

Any help/advice welcome.

Yes as long as you are the original account creator and you have all of the right recovery info it is always possible to recover the account.

Are the ban rates high?

Just bot safely, and don't leave your bot on for too long to avoid bans.

 

even if you do bot safely you still have that chance of being banned, id just play legitly to avoid all problems. GL though

 

Yeah that is always the best solution, but some people rather have a bot do the work for them instead of themselves doing the work .

Use the break system if you bot (obviously)

Bot like you normally would play. Take breaks often.

 

The ban rates are very high, but I'm sure you could pull together a decent account with a premium Tribot script. I recommend rock crabs.

 

Basically if you buy an account and they have an email attached, they can recover it instantly. Or the "jagex guardian angels" are protecting the account preventing to login without the Authenticator pin code. You need to have the email to play without harm`s worry.
