Need Information on Laws

Okay, so before I begin I'd like to say I've never used this site for a trade with anyone and I just came here because really I don't know where else to go for this information.

A couple months back I posted an ad on a local site that is like craigslist or ebay. I sold a runescape account and a month back I recovered it. I am no receiving texts that we is going to inform the police, I would just like to know am I in any legal danger over taking back an online runescape account? I live in Canada if that changes any laws please give me your feedback on what could happen.

 

Well you're going to be banned from Sythe, I can tell you that. So R.I.P. in peace new scammer. They could potentially report it to the police and it could be considered larceny if they take it serious enough, or it could be considered malicious use of a computer to commit larceny or wording similar to that.

Police in Canada would probably take something like this more seriously. Especially since it was done through local site. Also closed for being a scamming piece of shit.
