Understanding Rs2 Private Servers

Hello everyone. This is isn't a guide but this is some vocabulary you will need to know while your learning abnout Rs2 Private Servers.

Private Server: A private server is a "copy" of Runescape 2 in which the owner can then edit to how they want it. Also, people who use a Server IP (explained later) and Port (explained later) can play it just like real Runescape 2. To start a private server, you need to know Java (explained later). Server IP: A Server IP is the address that people use to access someone's private server (explained earlier). You enter a Server IP in a client (explained later). The Server IP enables direct access to the server. Think of having a navigator on your car, and you type in the address and it takes you directly to the address.

Port: A port is what helps you access a private server (explained earlier) (along with a Server IP (explained earlier)) in a client (explained later). Think of it as the city of a navigator on your car. You need the city to get into the address. In the same way, you need the port to get into the server.

Client: A client is where you type in the Server IP (explained earlier) and the Port (explained earlier). Think of the client being the navigator in a car. You type in the city and address on it and you get directly where you want to go. The same is for a client. It is the application that lets you get into a private server (explained earlier). Java: Java is the main programming language used to code Runescape 2 private servers (explained earlier). You need to know Java to make one. Without Java, there would be no private servers (explained earlier). You need to know Java to start a private server (explained earlier).
