Disputing IP Ban

I'm posting this a second time because I didn't know you could post unregistered and so I made a new account to post a dispute and it was banned.
So let me reiterate what I said in my previous post. The name of my account is BossHogg. About 2-3 days ago, when I attempted to access the site, it timed out. I didn't know what was wrong, so I researched and found out that the Sythe firewall may have accidentally blocked my Ip Address and that I should email [email protected] for removal. I did so. After doing so I used a proxy so I could just browse the site casually. Upon entering, certain proxies brought up a page that informed me that my Ip Address was banned and if I believed this was a mistake to send a message to an Administrator. At this point I'm a little confused. Was it MY Ip address that was banned or the proxy's Ip? At first I was convinced that my Ip was only blocked but now I'm unsure. Could somebody please elaborate on my dilemma? If I'm merely Ip blocked I suppose I'm all set because I've already sent an email to Sythe who should then unblock my Ip. If, in fact, I am banned, could I be told why this is because I'm really quite confused about why. Thank-you
