I will be donating around Christmas time, i know it might be delayed but that's unfortunately the only time i will be able to do so. Looking forward to my "Donator rank" Old or new rank doesn't really matter because that's not the point of donating in the first place?

Last month, I donated $250 to Sythe, and the month before I donated $50.

I was planning on donating another $200-$300 this month, but because of unexpected events that have taken place in the past 2 weeks.

Hopefully next month I can get back to donating!

For the record, I for one, respect everything Sythe has done for us to keep the site up, thanks Sythe!

It may not be necessary, but many people seem to be using their Donor Rank as trust.

I guarentee 90% of the members aren't using the old style due to personal preference. Rather, they have not donated enough to reach the next level or to upgrade their current status, as by where the rank will be changed.

I agree, and you do bring up some good points.

Frequent Market users tend to be business-oriented, and stay away from places that are a waste of time (such as the spam forum). They do their work, get paid, and move on ready to endure the next day.

As for others, and the Staff, they are more-so forced to run into such members as you have listed above. Such people are a waste of time for everyone, and if they think that they can use/take this forum for granted, then I think it would be in everyone's best interest to spare us the time and share the uselessness of their life elsewhere.

Zero tolerance is a blessing.

Sythe puts a lot of hard work into this site, which most people take for granted.
I am donating 50% of all my RWT profits to sythe.

 

Me and Djweasel work together in the Market, and in the past 4-5 months, we've donated 80%-90% of our earnings, I think that is respectable.

 

I feel terrible that i havent donated yet, and ive been a member on sythe for 2 years now.
I'll try to donate soon, every little thing helps i guess.

 

I'd rather pay a self imposed 10% tax here then this bullshit 20% I pay in the U.S.......

Anyways I plan to donate 10%+ from now on if I ever get time to make a dime.

Why is this? Think about all the websites you visit on a daily basis without paying. Google, facebook, yahoo, none of these sites require you to pay anything. Do you feel guilty?

I feel that no one has any kind of obligation to sythe to reimburse him for helping facilitate transactions, and certainly no one is selfish for not paying to use his free website. That being said, I did donate $100 as a show of my appreciation for having earned many times that amount through this site

 

Sythe is different from these websites. Sythe is smaller and isn't earning anywhere near as much as these big name sites.

I say that I would call them a selfish person because coming on this website to do nothing more than think of themself is being selfish. You honestly think that if someone makes $2,000 on here and doesn't donate even $5.00 to this site, and keeps it all for themself is being an honorable person? Sythe allows everyone to use this forum free of charge, and to take that privilege and use it for granted well.. I don't see any "right" in that.

Well in the past few months we've donated about....$500+ combined. Which is alot. We both are trying our best to keep sythe alive and respect many of the older users.
