Unable to reset my password

I've recently been scammed by a member whose username is heiisniper, you can see my thread in Steam sales. For whatever reason I can't reset my account password for the forum, even though the password for this and my steam account were completely different. I'm getting this error each time: "The request to reset your password was made more than 24 hours ago, so it has expired. To resubmit the request, please use this form."

I'd like a staff member to assist me, thanks.
