Don't create a contest for your own profit, that's just not done. You take a shit load of the gold division for yourself...

 

10% =/= half.

The staffmember in-charge of looking after the gold gets 5% and 5% goes to myself.

That is not unreasonable.

If this was hosted by a staff member or someone more trusted I would think about it.

 

It will be hosted by staff. For now just fill out an entry form and you will be added as this "FoxTek(unpaid)" When a staff member shows his interest (he gets 5% of the pot as incentive) you can pay then.

For anyone else that is worried about this...DON'T BE!

 

Creative, But since it's not being hosted by a trusted member, I don't see this getting very much action :/

 

Don't take money for yourself lol...the haxball + chess tournaments are both free, nobody's going to pay money to enter an unofficial tournament led by a member who was just recently banned.

 

The person holding the gold will not be myself. It will be a staff member. Might you learn to read? Everyone buys in so there is a pot to win.

I would not have any trouble buying in to an unofficial tourney once a staff member is in charge of the gold.

 

Why not host the tournament for free? It's all about fun, right? You can let people buy themselves in, but don't take 10% out of the prizepool to yourself (and a staffmember).
