New Songdo City

For those who don't know, New Songdo City is a construction project of a new city in Korea, close to Seoul (the capital). It's going to have EVERYTHING connected, meaning you can use this little "card" they give you for things like computer cafes, vending machines, train tickets, etc (this is all automated) and you can also use your phone to do it too.

It's going to be completed sometime in 2012, mostly for business but has room for 95000 residents (back in 2004 people were already signing up). It hasn't even been completed yet and it's already on the top 10 tech cities and will overtake Japan once it's completed.

What do you think? I'd like to see those modern tech skyscrapers all over the place xD

Oh, and, it also claims it's going to have the "best" from Sydney, New York and Venice. They've already confirmed that part of the city will be like Venice (but normal traveling too)

 

Looks nice mate,but i'm wondering how much it will cost living there(monthly rent,other expenses,pocket money,etc..)

 

Wow. Whats next Robot City? It probably costs a fortune. Basically they're building a brand new, hi-tech city.

Well, it looks almost finished.

 

This looks freaking amazing, I would love to live there.

 

Unfortunately, alot of people in Seoul have taken up most if not all residential areas

 

it looks very relaxed, a good place to take the time to smell the roses so to speak
