    Sedra worked for me from October 14th 2023 until September 16th 2024. He signed a Non-Compete Agreement for my protection, so that he doesn't join my company just to learn everything and then leave the company to become a competitor.

    A few days after I refunded his deposit, he started competing with us which is a clear breach of contract. I confronted him, saying I would waive the penalty if he stopped within 24 hours. He refused.

    But searchy is telling me not to work on websites i know before i work for him and he said you havent traded on there before working for me

    Also why are you hiring me if you think its againest sythe rules and we already had a contract about that?

    I won't be responding to your inquiries since I don't handle private reports, please post those publicly. Your concerns to the evidence being public aren't relevant and abuse the need for it to be hidden from the public. @Sedra please also make a report with your inquiries if you're interested in them being handled. The evidence can be hidden if sensitive but allegations need to be public.

    Since the non-compete is the main concern here, you've both agreed to handle it through a court system and the Sythe system won't replace that.

    I wouldn't want to close out this report without at least commenting on the non-compete agreement. It likely would not be enforced by Sythe staff due to the poor wording of the agreement and @Sedra wouldn't have violated it in the first place. As well as if @Sedra did violate it, the amount you want him to pay would likely not be upheld due to it being excessive and also vaguely worded how it'd be applied. By now it'd be €18k, in 5 months it would be €383k, and in 11 months it would be €13.77m. The purpose of these violations are to make the parties whole not to make someone profit or excessively punish someone.

    This isn't an official ruling due to it being handled elsewhere nor is this to say non-competes are not enforceable on Sythe.
