TopOneGame Scam

First off this person is in no way affiliated with http://toponegame.com/

Nowhere on http://toponegame.com/ does it state they sell RS Gold, Only WOW and D3 gold. Secondly the MSN's provided in the original posters thread are not found anywhere on http://toponegame.com/.

The scam he is using goes like this. You send him the payment via paypal to the original paypal address. [email protected] (NOTE this paypal address is not affiliated with toponegame at all! Its fake).

Then what he does is make up an excuse stating his paypal is buggy and to send it to his UK paypal (This is a red flag as toponegame is not a UK company!)

His UK paypal is : [email protected]

Once the money is sent he blocks people resulting in the scam. If you're wondering why he uses two paypals, the first one is to gain trust, by using the paypal name [email protected] it makes it look like a legitimate paypal from the actual site when in fact it is not. This not being his real paypal he needs the funds sent to his REAL one so he makes up an excuse to get it sent to [email protected] and then block the buyer. All I have are screenshots of our conversation. I did not go ahead and sent the funds to the UK paypal because I've seen this scam before but he did end up scamming two others. One of them I have been conversing with back and forth in PMs. He was the one who provided the UK paypal email.

At the very least this should warrant a TWC but I think this is an obvious scam despite me not getting scammed.

if any more evidence is needed let me know, also 2nd page in that thread 2 other users have been scammed

 

Do you have a screenshot of TopOne-Game asking for payment to be sent to [email protected]? If you can find one (maybe your friend has one?) I would like to add it to the report.

In the mean time, I visited the website and they definitely don't deal with RS Gold, as seen here:



As you can see on the side menu, and in the response to the first question, they don't deal with Runescape or with RSGP. I also looked around the site & ran a Google search, and all the e-mails used by TopOne-Game are not actually associated with the site in any way.

I am banning him for impersonating a representative of Toponegame.com, and for attempting to scam.
