Do you think the london riot was called for?

I think it shouldnt be happening right now, I dont know the whole story but it seems like the cop shot the guy because he felt threatend by the guy. Im curious what you guys feel about this.

I would say that the riots that recently went on in Egypt were 'called for', but then again there were some high points of those riots that were quite peaceful and organized.

I think things can easily get out of hand depending on who is around, but things especially get out of hand when police start bashing up the crowd trying to get things under control.

The Egyptian military/police did the right thing by saying they wouldn't harm their countrymen and women. The only thing that stuffed the peace up was extremists.

 

I don't think the policeman should of shot the guy in the first place, if i feel threatened by someone that doesn't give me the right to shoot them, just because he is in the law he shouldn't be able to do what he likes.

 

Completely. I'm glad people are finally standing up for themselves instead of getting pushed around by the government. I don't approve of the damage and loss of property for some, but I feel like they had the right idea.

 

So a guy pulls a gun out on you, and you had a gun, you wouldnt shot him?

I heard the guy pulled out a gun and shot at the police and missed, then the police shot him. If this was the case then he had it coming, as that is basic self defense on the policeman's part.

Regardless of the above, I do not think the riot is called for on any means.

The government does what they want now a days, a similar thing happened in montreal but killed an inncocent bystander after the bullet killed the original target..Pretty pathetic how they'll cover it up to blame it on the citizens.

 

This kind of senseless violence solves nothing. All of them deserve to be arrested, nothing can justify what's happened these past few days.

 

At first, i could understand why people were angry. A close friend or family member was shot for no reason. I still think they should have started a riot, will it bring him back? No! It's just causing more pain to the family of the man who was shot.

Now I'm horrified, it's an excuse for people to loot, even though they never knew the guy who was shot.
