Yes they are good 'fun' things.

But what is the point? They look crap and badly managed.

Why not integrate games instead of having to make a thread and explain rules and all that crap? Just have an add-on to play games and that?

 

Because an RNG doesn't have any legal implications. It can be used as one sees fit, but once you start explicitly putting things for people to bet with on the site then you start getting into some dangerous legal waters.

 

I know no one will agree but honestly i liked the time before that attrocious "sand box" section was made and when dicing was left to irc's and runescape. All this gambling bullshit has done is bring out unsavory characters.

 

In my opinion, Sythe has created a thread specifically for dicing among members, and even provide their own dice and cards. Many people enjoy gambling, and since Sythe has a large base, they wouldn't want the members to patronize other sites to fulfill their needs, and provided a friendly environment where members can communicate and befriend each other over a friendly game
