when to start merching. solo.

i may start merching but how much cash do u need? ^_^ ive got 4mil
( yikes) when shud i start, on my pure ive got 200k, is that enough?

 

4M is enough ,but u need good item ,like chaos runes etc ,and 200k isnt much ,but u can still merch rune axes but it wont be very profitable

 

i would go with rune ess

i bought 160k rune ess and going to sell for max price in 2 days

 

4mil is not nearly enough to solo merch. You would want at least 50-100mil. Sorry

 

Well i have an obby pure with 3m. i merch and make 150k each merch. good money for an account that i dont play on.

 

If you rarely play, four million is enough.
Most people who merch, well, they often play, but they also have around 50,000,000gp + (as stated above).

Obviously, for more profit, you need more beginning cash.
I'd prefer training, for quite some time, until you have perhaps...
20,000,000gp (20M). Around there, do simple things.
Merchant essence, logs, potions, armor, etc.

You'd be making perhaps, a one or two million gp profit per 2-5 days.
Average per day, is quite nice, no specific price though.

It's something you have to keep working at, obviously once you gain cash, your profits increase, etc. etc.

 

IMO 4M is good enough to merch.

Little tips you may want to know;
- Invest into rising items/new items.
- Get lucky, be online when there is a ge update, and run to ge fastly to buy rising items.
- Don't merch clan items.
- Don't invest all of your cash into the same item.

EDIT: - Also watch graphics of the item, into the GE database on runescape page, not to get screwed by anything.

4m is enough. Start small, and nothing too ambitious. Get to know trends and you'll get the hang of it Use the GE database a lot, can be very helpful.
