Ugh I'm moving and no wireless

I'm moving out into the country but heres the thing

I'm currently using AT&T wireless.. one where its 2wire.. and i get 54.0 mbps

Anyways I'm moving and here's whats happening:

    AT&T wont reach that far
    Verizon wont reach that far
    charter wont reach that far
    comcast wont reach that far

Only option for internet is dial up which yeah.. gf runescape

    orrr

this t mobile hotspot thing where i get 5gb/month.. i play scape for hours on end and browse fb and quite a bit of other sites... would this be enough? I want wireless so I can get on my ipod to watch porn and talk to my gf through kik/skype since her phone is broken

    :/

Anyone know is 5gb/month is gonna be fine or if there are any other service providers that are decent?

won't pay no more than $70/mo

    zip code: 29349

What kind of 'other' sites? Youtube is out of the question if you intend on using runescape for hours on end lol. If you stay away from streaming websites and watching videos online, then you will be fine, easily.

5GB a month is nothing. I use about 7 just on my phone. Streaming or using multiple bots will drain that 5GB quick.

my dad 'claims' that i only use 150mb/month.. lollll

ill prove him wrong within a day but I mean.. theres an unlimited package for like $200/mo which would be only other option since we're out in country but it also includes netflix and stuff like that and he won't do it if it comes with extras because he'll want a cheaper rate without them but it won't be offered

Don't waste your money on the hotspot shit, especially with T mobile. 5GB is not nearly enough.

Look into satellite internet through WildBlue.

i do not think for the 7,5 will cut it for sure.. 15 maybe but i mean i wont be able to scape or stuff like that and the other one well i mean theres still a cap so the $200 for unlimited would be the best

Why do people dislike the hotspot? It's password protected so no one can free ride but i'd like to know why people are dissing it :/ my only other option is dial up LOL

I'm on at&t...ive been using unlocked Nokia phones for years...nice thing about them is that I can use the app called joikuspot to use the LTE connection on my phone as the source for my hotspot...and it costs nothing. Its 10$ per every gig over 5 GB, so if i go over...whatever. I dont have to use it often, but with the lte, its blazingly fast. Damn near as fast as the net at the house..

Usually when I get sent away, I use a similar wireless dongle thing. Usually 5-10Gb does me fine for the month. even if botting.

Using RS on end is actually very low on data.. My internet went down for two days and I used my phone as a 3G hotspot.. it measured the data and it seems RuneScape really only needs data around the time you start it up and it loads all of the core game files.. then after that it just uses a few kb every few minutes.. About 10 hours of RS is like 40-50 MB's so you should be good unless you restart it a ton and do other things on top of playing RS like a maniac.

You most likely have cable internet available in your area. At least in every remote area within the US it is, usually. Satellite internet is expensive, probably double the price, and uniquely suited for extremely rural areas, deserts, islands, jungles, etc.
