I own an Ibis White Audi S3 2011 Black edition - has 265 HP. I love it to bits and has done me so well in the time I have had it and covered around 110,000 Km.

I am looking to now Stage 1 remap to 310 HP. (which I should have done a while ago!)

I just came back from the Nurburgring around a month ago and am looking to go back for the third time soon! The whole town is an amazing experience let alone the track itself I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys track days.

It's very nice and will hold its value, also got a great deal on it. It's just a base model, couldn't afford the si. Here's a stock photo ours is exactly the same I had wanted to lease a bmw/audi for a while but it's not practical at this point in my life. Also excuse me I' tired idk why i thought you had a picture of a bmw lmao

Why a pickup? do you carry large loads? I see they are more common in NA.

 

A variety of reasons, namely because I wanted one.

 

I got myself a 2006 Toyota Corolla 3 years ago and it had 23 000 km. I'll fucking die with this car, period.

Yeah I wouldn't part with it if I were you unless you're forced to. That's a nice looking car you got there.

From what I see, I'd rather have a car that is reliable over good looking. Of course, car fan or not, you want to look good with what you drive but at the end of the day, I think reliability wins over anything. Now, I'm not saying good looking cars aren't reliable. What I'm saying is why spend more money on a new/tuned car when a basic car will provide the same result?

I personally think putting money on a car (besides needed repairs) isn't the smartest move because, long term speaking, you will have to part ways with it. That's why I'd rather spend money on something else.

 

I agree with all of what you said. Every couple of months/whenever I come back from a track day I browse for an alternative car that can give me 'more' pleasure.

I have come to terms though that it is not worth it in most cases as it is a very expensive hobby. Maintaining the car with services/ repairs/fuel and insurance etc.. is where a large chuck of money goes.

However I still plan to own that Ferrari or Lambo one day - it is nice to have attention when you drive, but a lot of the time it can draw the wrong attention. You need a balance.
