Two Tips For Keeping Your Identity Safe Online

Hi Sythe, Today i decided to write a guide on keeping your identity safe on-line because lately on TV ive seen so many people fall to identity fraud

1. The most DANGEROUS site's on the web are one of the most common used and will surprise you an example is http://www.ancestry.com.au/

Why? What do you need to get into your ISP? Your Date of Birth, Name, Your Username, and a few of them have a secret question which is, What is your mothers maiden name?

What do all these have in common? you fill nearly all of them out on the website, including your secret question answer

2. Never use your ISP email for anything, for example im with bigpond, so my email is [email protected], if you use this it is really really easy to bluff your way through the questions, i've done this for my nan helping her and didn't have her DOB.

Yeah I prefer to use @hush after it got recommended to me as even hotmail isn't as safe as it sounds. Apparently also more secure since MSN is not directly linked to the @hush email itself so only your MSN gets hacked if so; not your @hush email. Guide can be found here to make a @hush email.
