Two for one pin event!

[DrDeath]

I just got this email from "[email protected]"

The site they give go to a phishing website. Did anyone else get this email?

ALSO notice on the bottom how it says "Runescape 3" at the bottom.

Dear User,

As you may know RuneScape has had a large increase in members during the last month! Over here at Jagex we would like to celebrate this achievement by having a small event!

   What is the event?

We are now doing a special deal where you buy one pin, and get another free! We feel that this is a great way to celebrate our increase of members as it will benefit all the current and also encourage free to play users to join the boat!

How to get my free pin?

If you would like to get your own free pin it is as simple as clicking our special Two for One pin link and calling the number provided [PHISHING SITE]

Many thanks,

Jagex Games Studio

What an epic fail. I feel sad for the people that fall for this stuff.

I liked how they called it Jagex Studios, when it's referred to as Jagex Ltd.

[DrDeath]

I didnt fall for it. And the website that they were using to phish is now closed

[xsk00ldx]

Hell yea i got this email too man

I was like coo. But then saw what the link lead too and just smelt failure written all over it.

[Almond Joy]

[DeadlyStrikes]

Damn, that looks real.

[Fizzed]

well one Jagex dosent say Pins they say membership, and two it would be on the home page lol...

[DrDeath]

And they say they are getting more members. I am pretty sure more people unsubcribed after all what happened in the past year.

[Pokemoners]

You too?

I got an email today from "[email protected]" that said free membership via PayPal. I pressed the link (just out of curiosity) and it said "this page has been discontinued due to a violation of the T.O.S"

*sigh* pathetic phishers these days....

[DrDeath]

And I wonder how they got my email address? Almost no one knows about this email.

[kayosman]

Already posted this... Good to let people know. (I clicked it and saw the link was fake I was like daaaaaamn lol)

[The True Gears]

I lol'd at the "RuneScape 3" typo. They failed.

[Runescape_Mod]

this thing happened to me, i wonder if they hacked the runescape database of email addresses?

[Kiabin]

I'd never fall for any of this. This would be on the home page. And besides, jagex is way to greedy to give away a free month to everybody.
