TWC - Weekday -

There was an imposter of myself, that added me on discord ( by another name obv) and scammed a different user on discord.
During this transaction with the imposter of myself, he instructed me to Pm the sythe account 600m Miknava, At this moment, i felt weird about that, SO i PMED the WHOLE conversation we had on discord, Not just "600m miknava" which would of indicated " this is 600m u are trading over". The person on sythe did get scammed, and they Openly admitted they got imposter scammed after figuring out what had happen, Imposter Scammed me for 600m
^ I though, Immediately posted a watch out scam report , because i could see what happen Scammer on Discord, Do not have link to sythe, but maybe someone can find!
This is unfortunate and i hope things go better for them.
There should be no reasoning to me getting a TWC from this transaction, I include in my thread, My contact information for Discord this includes correct capitalization & my discord ID.


Now there is a template that has been brought up to my attention from Wortel, this is a good thread and i will now use it from this day on, BUT it is not mandatory, as it is stated.



There is no reasoning i should be receiving a TWC for not using this template, as this person could of came from any market, any discord, or referred through a friend. This template also states it is recommended.

Once again, I make it clear that my discord is Weekday#8460 (it is in graphics where you MUST manually type it in) and my ID is 177634434244280320, When i PMED the person that got scammed, I sent the WHOLE entire message, this should of been the Biggest FLAG for them because of different words in the conversation, and lastly whent hey asked to Pm "600m miknava" I PMED the WHOLE conversation again!

Please, review your template, if it is mandatory to use the template, than be so, state it.

I've done nothing but help this community, by reporting scammers when i can, even for others that strictly use discord, or newcomers that don't understand how to, is no suspicious or malicious intent from me. I didn't right away need to make a watch out scam report from a discord user, but i was able to understand what was happening when he deleted me, so i took it upon myself to help someone, and to create a quick report, so potentially saving someone from getting scammed.

Any further information needed, please notify me , i'd like to resolve this ASAP.


@Pendulum than why is this not stated? I’m getting a TWC for someone adding me on discord, & asking to buy a name, Also this is not for MM services, I deal with MM’ing differently if you read my thread I make them fill out a form.


If you’re going to TWC For not using the discord template, than do you honestly understand how many people should be getting a TWC ? And you need to state that not using the template will result in a consequence, it also should not say “ it is recommended” you can’t say something is recommenced , and than penalize someone for not using it, that’s unfair.






Recommended, not mandatory, that the max i should be given a warning on how to use proper trade etiquette, if it is mandatory to use the template.


@Jason & @Pendulum this has nothing to do with middleman’ing , a user contacted about buying a name, the user used a pof , I sent names , they asked to send them a PM on Sythe I did, to confirm we were talking , than asked to say “600m mik” which they were saying that is the character I was going to trade, I instead sent out full conversation.
MY MIDDLE MAN THREAD I REAUIRE USERS TO FILL OUT A FORM & than I PM THEM BOTH! This is not about middlemanning AT ALL!


@Jason @Pendulum here look at these imgurs, THE IMPOSTER was *selling* a name to vronic. NO one was impostering me as an "MM" vronic added the imposter directly and asked for list, and traded money over directly. NOW look at the PM's sent to me from "cylous" the imposter, he acted like a regular indivual, asking for a confirmation on sythe, "link your sythe thread and pm me" OK i did, i dont need a template for that. Than later says " Pm me on sythe '600m miknava" this is / sounds fishy, SO once again i SEND FULL CONVO! This is a RED FLAG INDICATOR.

this was not my fault it was the vronic's , I DO NOT need to use the template unless you SYTHE STAFF say it is MANDATORY!

I agree with @Wortel's TWC placement here. Including the Unique ID makes a scam next to impossible if the user actually reads the PM.
I understand there are other indicators and red flags in a confirmation PM, but above all of that is the unique ID. If you are going to offer free MM services, this is something that you must be fully aware of.

We don't force users to use to follow the thread, but if someone gets scammed from a poor PM (anything that doesn't follow that template) we will apply a TWC. This practice isn't perfect, but Discord is one of the poorest platforms to trade on as there are a plethora of bugs that allow impersonation to be extremely easy.

Going to agree with Wortel and Pend that the TwC is warranted. As someone offering middleman services, you should be aware of the safest possible practices when trading. As Pendulum stated, it isn't mandatory to use the PM template, but if a scam occurs that possibly could've been prevented with a proper PM there are punishments.
