How they scammed: Not 100% sure it is a scam yet, but either way I think a TWC is in order.

Not real sure, I think it is just really low how this all went down and that he did it knowingly. I think he plans to actually pay back, but I still think a TWC is in order for betting with things you don't have and doing so knowingly just to risk that you won't have to pay.

I am confirming that I just received the cash. He also gave a 250K bonus for the weight time.

It is up to the mods if they feel this is TWC-worthy. I found it very frustrating that he knowingly and purposely bet with money he did not have in hopes that he wouldn't get found out if he won. We need a dice with caution rank...
