Detailed description of the events that took place and why you disagree with the decision: A user contacted me (not sure where he initially found my information, most of my work is from referrals) to create an osrs script for him. I agreed to complete the script, under the conditions that he would pay $100 upfront and I would work on it in my spare time. I told him it could be done in as little as a week, but again it depended on the amount of time I had available. After starting the work through OSBot, he asked about switching to a different botting platform, which I said no to. The user was meant to be provided with a licensed version of the script, and was going to be required to make weekly or bi-weekly payments until the product had been paid for in full (I initially told him this was going to be like $400). Given that it was taking longer than we had anticipated for it to be completed, the customer wanted a refund. I didn't have an issue with this as I was incredibly busy at the time. I added funds to my Stripe balance so that a refund could be issued, and remained in communication with the customer. The customer then regularly messaged me to insult and berate me, despite me still trying to offer help as I could, because he said he had not yet received a refund. Eventually I became tired of this, and blocked him, as not responding to his messages within a few hours would just result in more aggression on his end.

    Link to previous disputes: None

Anything else you wish to say: Overall I believe the report was handled relatively poorly by Black. This isn't necessarily his fault, but is more a problem with similar circumstances leading to different outcomes based on the person handling the report. Overall though I will say that the responses given by Black definitely seemed to indicate a bias towards the customer in this report, outright ignoring his horrid behavior while highlighting my relatively very tame responses multiple times.

Based on the precedent that has been set by Sythe, this report never should've been handled on this platform.

Additionally, my receiving a TWC from this report seems to be predicated on the previous report against me. The previous report against me was absolutely the fault of the customer (I had some blame in this report, not disputing that). Black said this himself, and if this is the case (which it is), it is yet another reason that a TWC should not be warranted. The previous situation that happened with Koopa was that I was willing to complete work for him, was actively working on it, and the only thing that slowed down the work being completed was his poor communication, aggressiveness, and overall difficult demeanor. Even at the time he filed the report, I was still willing to complete the work and had been in communication with him trying to get this resolved, but he just kept making it more difficult every step of the way - even lying multiple times in his report, but never denying that it was his fault. Despite all of this, I still tried to work things out with him and issued him a partial refund.

Having read thousands of reports, a TWC being warranted in this instance just doesn't line up. I don't believe this TWC would have been applied without the previous report against me, which I went out of my way to resolve in an amicable way, and therefore it should've had absolutely no bearing on this case.

I don't even use Sythe as a platform for trading any more, ever. But I do care about my reputation, and I go out of my way to prove my customers with a good experience. I'm not happy about how the situation played out, but the vagueness and poor interpretation of rules and precedent shouldn't be put on me.

    TWC Removal: Bubly

    Hello @Bubly,

This is the second time that you gave a customer an approximate timeline for completion and far exceeded it. Furthermore, in both situations you agreed to refund the payment, but seemingly failed to do so until reports were made (one of which you were exempt from refunding due to the customer attempting a chargeback first).

I believe a TWC was warranted here and you can dispute it after 30 days have passed. When doing so I would advise to consider how your own actions have contributed to these reports instead of avoiding any accountability.
