Reminisce

A day is but a moment in time,
a mile but a leap from here.
For when you are on my mind,
the future is nothing but a sheer
reminder of another moment,
in which I will spend in reminisce.
How I wish a kiss with you were frozen,
or a walk be remembered as this.
But I leave behind no footprints,
no mark or sign of my presence.
A rainy day be the only thing that could rinse,
the memories you have trailed in essence.
I will float along trailing what once was,
the rain only pooling where you once occupied.
When will I stop, you ask? Never, because
I wont stop until you are again by my side.
