    Make an image transparent?

    Hey there!

    I have this image: [IMG]

That I want to make transparent (or crop out the sides/background of the dog) so that when viewed in a sythe thread, it has no background color. I only have paint, no PS. Anyone know how I can do it with paint? Or can anyone help me? lol

I also did a color corrected one for better looks according to me at least.

But if you use it as an avatar, you'll probably need to re size it to 80x80 otherwise it might not be transparent and show up as white instead.

    Heya stringcheese!

Just for future reference, without photoshop you can always use pixlr.com/editor - i find their magic wand useful when the background is just one color (most of the time white). Also you can use their lasso tool > cut > new image > paste, though that requires a really steady hand that I don't have haha :)
