    :Step One:
    Go to start menu / Control Panel / Appearance and Themes / Change Screen Resolution

    :Step Two:
    Change color quality to 16-bit

    :Step 3:
    Go to start menu / Control Panel / Add or Remove Programs

    :Step 4:
    Remove all programs used rarely / never used / unneeded / that take up a lot of memory

    :Step 5:
    Delete any unneeded files / shortcuts on your desktop (such as pictures you no longer need)

    Go to start menu and delete any task bar folders that are unneeded / unused / or from uninstalled programs

    :Step 7: (Optional)
    If you have any programs used to download music / videos / porn, clean the files within them and uninstall the program (these can cause harm to your computer and slow them down tremendously)


    :Step 8:
    After steps 1-7 shut-down your computer for 5-10 minutes (sounds weird but it helps to give your computer much needed rest and for all the updates to properly take effect)(note- restart your computer frequently)


    :Step 9:
    On your task bar where the icons are close any unwanted / unneeded running programs

    Press ctrl + alt + delete and end any unwanted / unneeded applications and processes

    Download a program known as a RAM Booster and run it (note- run this whenever needed)

    Download a good / trustworthy Anti-Virus Program to keep your computer clean (note- run frequently)

    :Step 13:
    Download a registry cleaner to get rid of unwanted / unneeded temporary internet files etc. (note- run frequently)


    :Step 14:
    Break yourself of downloading habits of downloading to many unnecessary things that could potentially harm your computer


    :Step 15:
    Enjoy your new and improved speedy computer and be sure to repeat steps when needed
