[tut] How to make a loud, cheap pressure bomb.

Pressure Bomb
[ AKA Battery Bomb]

Cost: about $3.00

Materials:

1. [1]Large Bottle of Hydrogen Peroxide.
2. [1]Size AA Alkaline Battery
OR [if you are over 18]
order some magnesium oxide from a site such as
www.unitednuclear.com

3. [1]2 Liter Bottle (clear)
4. [1]Cutting utensile (Ive used a hammer+chisel & a hacksaw before)
5. [1]Facial Tissue
6. [1]Needlenose Pliers

Procedure:

If you have Magnesium Oxide skip to step G

A. Use your cutting utensile to remove both ends from the battery. (leaving a tube filled with black crap.)
B. Cut the battery lengthwise and use the pliers to pry apart the sides, exposing the "black crap"
C. The black crap is called Magnesium Oxide, and shouldn't harm your skin. (depending on skin sensitivity)
D. In the middle of the Magnesium Oxide mass, there should be a plastic wrapped silver rod. this rod is messy and you can just toss it.
E. Leave the Magnesium Oxide out on a sheet of paper or something to dry.
F. (performance-optional) crush the chunks into fine powder.

G. Make sure you have removed the label from the bottle
H. Pour the bottle of Hydrogen Peroxide into the bottle filling it 1/2 way up.
I. Lay down the tissue and pour the Mag.Ox. powder into it.
J. Wrap the powder/tissue up so that it can fit thorugh the mouth of the bottle


FUN PART

A. QUICKLY drop the tissue into the bottle and screw on the cap AS TIGHT AS POSSIBLE
B. This thing will not blow up in your hands, Ive had much experience.
C. Wait until the black liquid stops bubbling before you try to detonate the bomb.
D. to detonate, you will need to shoot it with a bb gun or throw rocks at it or use an m80 or something. Look for the seam in the bottle. this is where it is weakest.




And there you go! a nice loud bang accompanied with a small shockwave!
