You can check your IP using whatismyip.

Basically your using a program to connect to a private network from your computer, and then using the IP the network assigns to you instead of your actual IP. Pretty much doing so will keep you from getting Doxed/DDoSed.

Pretty much if the FBI rolled up to your house and took your hard drive and it's encrypted, they can't do shit with it and have no chance to prove anything. It would take them years to crack the encrypted password that you setup during the next process.

Scans your registry and show programs that are written in your registry to run. Can usually find keyloggers/bots that are setup in the reg to start running on start up, can use this program to delete them. You can always scan and post your report on forums for analysis.

These are many methods on how to keep yourself Anonymous wile using the internet, I suggest that you stay Anonymous at all times wile using the interwebz. A lot of personal information is stored away wile using the internet and may be used later to harm or fraud you. A lot of sites you give your personal information might be selling it out to other people. The internet isn't a game, serious things can happen, they're crazy insane people out there.

If you wrote this yourself, I think it would be better off in a guide section. It was quite a good read for me, and I imagine it would be even a better read for someone less informed about such issues.

I have a question, wouldn't the FBI already figure out that your using the program TrueCrypt, thus they won't fall for the trick of a "new OS"?

 

There is nothing they can do, as long as you have it encrypted and have the CD hidden well they will have no evidence to prove you guilty with. There has been situations where the FBI have been m4d cause they couldn't crack someones encrypted hard drive.

Very nice tutorial, but for the browsers I would suggest an anonymous one, which stores your cookies, cache, info on a secure server. It also will hide your ip making it even more useful. They may cost a little bit, but better safe than sorry. A good example would be eCapsule it only costs about $30.

Store your cookies? Sorry but anything being stored, especially cookies sounds like a horrible idea. They might say it's safe and secure but you don't really know that. I would use Firefox with addons and always use ccleaner to delete your cookies. Like people think facebook is safe, but in fact they store your personal information permanently. Delete your facebook and the information is still saved. They actually sell off your information to other people, did you kno that? The internet is very malicious to the levels that common browsers don't even know about.

EDIT: Oh and if cookies are saved and a company has access to them, they could easily read the cookies with the same process as "Sidejacking". (Sidejacking is packet sniffing on a Local Area Network(LAN).
