How to autohide a task bar on windows xp

This tutorial is very short but effective. It will come in handy if you want some extra screen space for watching videos, or playing on some games etc.

Note: This has only been tested on windows xp.

    1) Right click on the task bar, and select "Properties" as shown in the picture.

    2) Tick the "Auto-hide The Taskbar" box.

    3)Click "Apply", then "OK".

That is all there is to it,the task bar will not be visable but if you hover over the very bottom of the screen the task bar will appear again.

    Good Luck.
