    Turtle Beach XLC on computer

I bought a 2.5mm (female) to 3.5mm (male) adapter, and am using it to plug my Turtle Beach XLC headset into my computer.

The 2.5mm (converted to 3.5mm) plug is the mic in line, with the other (3.5mm) being the audio out line.

The headphones are playing music correctly, but the mic isn't detected. Is it a problem with the adapter? I already tried a different headset.

I can't find any drivers for the headset as it's designed for 360 and not PC.

PS: if anyone is interested in buying/trading some kind of computer headset for a Turtle Beach XLC with everything (good condition) and a 16GB iPod Nano 4th Gen with a broken headphone jack, PM me.
