[TUT] How to Make Userbars [TUT]

I am writing this guide so that everyone can make their own userbars
I am sacrificing my "business" so you guys can get these free

So, this is the FIRST guide i am writing,... give me some slack if i write it poorly.


For about a couple weeks, i have been making userbars, there is a link to my userbar thread in my sig, with all the userbars i have sold.

So, i am sure that all of you out there would rather make your own for FREE than to buy one from me, Here is how you do it.

Ughh...If you're going to make userbars, make them the correct way....with photoshop. I admit that its very fancy and if seen it a million times before, but userbars are going out of style. Anyways, this belongs in graphics, not general.

no, userbars will not go out of style. they may not be as popular as they once were, but there will always be some people using them

and no, photoshop is not "the correct way," GIMP works fine
and it's LEGALLY free

if a mod wants to move this to graphics, that's fine, but less people will see it.

 

what correct way is there? photoshop is almost exactly the same as gimp. With gimp you just need to use your brain more because you don't have filters that do everything for you.

nice tut with gimp. too bad im too lazy to open up gimp or ps

Sorry, I was a bitch then. Anyways, I meant to use any other graphics editing software except the userbar creator. But it works fine too.

It's a nice guide for gimp, but I still prefer photoshop.
Also I don't think you're allowed to use graphic guides in your user ed application.
