Skype doesn't work?

Hey is it just me or does skype not work for you guys either? really weird and annoying lol

 

Switch over to discord. I think the Skype IM days are coming to an end.

 

What do you mean it doesn't work? It works perfectly fine for me. Can you go more in-depth as to why, or why you think it may not be working?

 

well ye i got discord too but skype is easier for customers right?

I recommend uninstalling, and reinstalling skype and seeing what that does.

I honestly love both, but skype is better personally in my opinion. Really depends whether you have a website, clan, or you're solo. If you're solo with your business, then it's probably better to stick with skype to keep in contact with your clients there. Skype is still by far more popular even though Discord is on the rise extremely fast, but that's just my opinion.

Yeah when you get the website you'll probably want to expand to Discord. You should use both to maximize contact capabilities because some users only use Discord, and some only use Skype, so by using both you're benefiting yourself. Obviously it will be tedious, but if you're committed then you'll be fine, and will benefit in the long run.

 

Yup, will do that later on but ngl discord is annoying tho i really don't know how it actually works i just talk with friends via PM

 

It's pretty easy to use, and setting up one for your business will definitely help ease communication, and relay messages to everyone whether it's for a big announcement such as a sale, discounts, new changes, etc. It's worth using in the long run, so definitely look into it more.

 

It could be your ISP, for some places/countries Skype is disabled and various other Free Communication Applications. For eg. here in Dubai, Skype, TeamSpeak, Discord etc are all not allowed unfortunately :/ I'd suggest you go on a Proxy server, or use a good VPN.
