Try to reach 1,000,000 replies!

Well, I'm sure we'd all kill 1,000 people to cure AIDS. AIDS claims more lives than that every year, eliminating it by killing 1,000 people will save many many more. Makes sense, right?

1. your saving millions and we already have to many people in this little place we call earth.
2. I wouldnt kill any 1000, i would go to china there over populated.
3. It would be fun becuase theres no one who can stop me.

i would have a poll or something where ppl would sign a paper saying they wish to sacrifice themselves to help aids.

 

I'll stay nuetral on this argument, only for the sole reason that if one of those one-thousand people were me, I'd say no along with probably 90% of you who said "yes".

I dont no what to say to this. I mean it seems clear cut... (kill 1000; save millions) but what if one of those 1000 was one of ur close friends or family or was you. How would u feel then? Also some people have aids and its not their fault. This for me would be a really tuff decision......

Logically, it would make sense, because if we were to examine it on a balance, millions of lives would possibly outweigh a mere one thousand. However, once it actually happens, with emotions and all thrown in, it becomes more... vague.

It is like someone else said in a post previous somewhere--- what if one of those one thousand was someone you knew? What if it were someone you loved? It does not have to be romance-ish love, but just that deep love you have for friends and family. I would not want my best friend to die, because he is probably the closest thing to an older brother and protector I have. I would not want my mother to die, because even if she had been abusive, I still have those feelings of filial piety in the way. I would not want my cousin to die even if he is an annoying brat half the time.

If I could choose who are in the one thousand who die, I might do this. If not... well, on paper, it seems to be perfect, but my emotions would probably get in the way of my goals in actuality.

 

kinda hard but in truth killing 1000 people for something that killed millions isnt to bad
