The quest for two fiddy

The day is the 22nd of January. As I stroll the market i see a thread selling minecraft codes at insanely low prices. This January join date newcomer (we will call him Gaylord Cumberbatch) was selling minecraft gift codes at an astonishingly low two dollars and fifty cents total! I immediately inquired about said offer and sure enough I was given my code and, surprise surprise, it worked! After paying Mr. Cumberbatch I went on my way, enjoying my brand new minecraft account which i named TeemoTwerk420. Unfortunately for me, and TeemoTwerk420, the fun didn't last. Three months rolled around and all of a sudden TeemoTwerk420 was no longer. Confused as I was I sent Mojang an email about the problem and they replied with the following:



Pure fear came over me as I had realized what had happened. Not only was my precious TeemoTwerk420 dead but I had also lost my two dollars and fifty cents. As the shock of my imminent financial demise hit me I rushed to ask Gaylord what the problem was (after all he did tell me to do just that if anything were to happen)

After months of not receiving but a single acknowledgement of my existance I decided to bring out the big guns. I gathered the evidence and with righteous fury and I made a scam report. Within minutes the mighty hammer of Cas_M slew Gaylord Cumberbatch and all that was left was sorrow. I wasn't sure what to do with myself. I would never see my TeemoTwerk420 or my two fiddy ever again. Or would I?

Fast forward to July 21st 2014 as I see a strange message Gaylord's skype profile.



Sure enough as I entered the mysterious TS3 channel there was but one person online.



I enter the channel and let out a friendly greeting to the man I assumed to be Gaylord. After a few moments of silence I tried again. It seemed as if he had been offline for a while.



I grew weary of waiting for him to come back so I went on with my day as normal. A few hours later I hear a ring from TS3. Someone else had joined the channel we were in. I immediately questioned him of his affiliations with Gaylord Cumberbatch. Here is what he had to say:



Astonished at the kindness of the stranger I quickly added him on steam to finally be reimbursed for my troubles. As I added the steam account I noticed there were two or so other accounts with identical names but with different pictures. There was something going on here but I wasn't sure what it was. Either way I added his account and continued the conversation.



And so I did.



So here I stand today. Two fiddyless and minecraft accountless. As I ponder to myself the meaning of all this I start to draw myself a picture. All the arrows were pointing somewhere but where was it? Where is Gaylord Cumberbatch? Why can't the stranger pay through paypal? Why do they share several accounts with the same name? Only time will tell. Two weeks time that is. The day will be August 4th 2014 9:56PM Pacific and I WILL have answers.
