TWC when an theres an inquiry by PayPal.

I'd suggest Sythe's rules are changed to no longer allow members that have "inquiry's by PayPal" to continue trading. This is nearly as stupid as the 72 hour rule for upgrades however, in most cases these will be larger than a 7M upgrade.

These are when payments are held after a trade has been completed. They can result from a PayPal account being limited and its trades being reviewed among other things. Normally all the sender will have to do to stop the inquiry is call PayPal and talk with them for 3 minutes about what the trade pertained to and whether he got what he wanted. However, when nothing is done the payment is simply reversed... a week or so later.

Simply put, someone could fund 10 different PayPals, get them limited and simply wait for the funds to be released. After that he simply refunds all the money to the main account and profit$'s. And he didn't "scam" until a week after the scam started.

The only logical solution I see to this is TWCing individuals or banning them until its resolved. Its just an extended scam in most cases and it seems stupid gold sellers are powerless to do anything..... Until a week later when they could have scammed god knows how much?

 

I'm pretty sure when that does happen the user is banned. For instance, weasel2013.

 

I totally agree with you kodak, it makes no sense why if you can post the proof of pics on a pending transactions due to possible fraud why cant they get temp banned or twc'd

 

Paypal is stupid and they hold $ for no reason a lot also. If it reverses or unauthorized they will be Hammered, refer to my sticky in RaSc, thanks
