Trolling A Lurer

Some guy asked me to make a "PK video" with him.
He told me to enter the red portal with only my best weapon, using protect item and redemption so I wouldn't lose anything.

I brought a bronze dagger.
He completely drained my prayer, killed me, and got loot less than 100 GP.
GF scammer, GF.

 

Lol, I remember posting pics months ago of a conversation I had with a kid who was trying to lure me. He was promising me something like 200M after I did what he wanted me to do, and I was going along with it and thanking him repeatedly, telling him that my family needed the money for bills and for my Dad's operation and blah blah blah.

Needless to say, he blocked me before the lure ever took place. I actually made him feel so bad :embar:

 

Made me fucking LOL especially the bold part.

The only time I was lured was back in the day, lost a Whip, boy was I a sad panda. lol

Haha. I've personally never been contacted by a lurer, poor me. Missing out on an awesome opportunity to troll.

But yeah I was actually following a lvl 138 around since he was 'famous' the week after the summon update and I thought he was like a legend..

I remember he took me to the wildy and we were walking and it was around level 50 when he was like watch my new familiar and he ko'd me.. I lost like full bandos and it was 20m then too.. he pm'd me sayin thnx for ancient statuette or something gay.. i just logged off and came back a week later and rebuilt

 

if you want to get lured go to the red portal in dragon armour. Youl get attacked by lurers

 

yea there has been several attempts to lure me when i was hosting. Most of them were very pitiful

 

I don't understand some lures, and how complex they get. The amount of times someone has obviously tried to lure me and I'm like gtfo, I then see a vid from them on utube and someone who has been on my fl for ages works with them. So many lurers out there.

 

I really don't know how people fall for some of these lures! the only one i've ever thought was clever was jojo3000's

 

Kinda funny, these group of people tried to lure me with a level 3, and i almost ran in as a joke, and they came rushing out from their spot, and I was like like LOL!

 

never understood how lures actually get people either, like if some random guy u just met asks u to go to a pvp area obviously something bads gonna happen

 

Back in the day, me and my mates made pretty much all our money from luring. There were even a few party hats. You'd be surprised how many dumb people there are. Well actually you shouldn't be.... This is runescape we are talking about here.

 

The most I've ever lured was probably 5m... and that was some shit back in the day.
