Troll task, slayer master and gear

Hey,

I got a slayer task from Cheldar, kill 100+ trolls. Can I choose to kill the ice trolls instead?

And what slayer master should I use? I dont know if I should change. Here is my stats Gyazo - 020ad41a8d9729c57dbfd3b2a37aabd9.png (I use cannon and potions)

And last question, is the staff of the dead + dragon defender good for slayer?

 

Keep using highest available slayer master, not sure about sotd + d def.

 

STOD + Ddefender is fine if you're looking for str gains & can't afford a bludgeon.

Best slayer master is nieve (cb 85), she gives good & easy tasks, most of them cannonable.

 

Thanks! So nieve is also the way to go when you are high combat 100+? And the bludgeon is it hard to get? I got some tips that I could get sotd so thats why my attack are at 74 atm going for 75 and my mage are already 75

 

You should always use the best slayer master you can.

Nieve is better for XP when you're 85+ combat, but Duradel is better profit wise, a bit less xp due to tasks being harder & taking longer imho.

 

Best slayer master you can will give you the best xp rates.

 

iirc abyssal dagger, though slightly more expensive, is better dps just wanted to point that out
