A Ban for Multi Log-in?

Is it possible to get detected and/or banned by multilogging in and interacting with the accounts?

I don't understand what you mean by this.

What does multilogging in have to do with buying gold and how did you get caught buying gold off of a website?

 

Could you tell me what method you use please?
I've heard of:
1 hitting the play button in 2 diff browsers at the same time
2 using a signed and unsigned applet
3 and making the random file read only

 

what I mean is, if you were just to trade, you won't get banned. But if your trading illegal gold, then you might get banned, for RWT. But as for trading, no way you can get banned just for trading.

Yeah it's possible to be caught and banned, as it's against the rules and they can almost certainly find out what you're doing.

But.. many people do it all the time. Hell, I log into two accounts the same level and pk in multi, transfer items all the time, etc. And nothing's happened. So I wouldn't be too worried.

Nothing is going to happen if you multi log with 2 different clients and transfer the gold to your own account on the same IP. Don't worry about it.

easiest way is to have a pc and a laptop and use a rs acc in each, its simple.

^Yes, get two browsers and log in both accounts to the point where you've chosen your world and it's one final click to log in, put the two windows close to each other with the login buttons side by side and click log in simultaneously on both windows and both accs will log in ^^

 

No, ive never seen anyone get a multilog ban. I suggest using blupigs client.

 

Sorry if it seems like a stupid question, but the alternative for multi-logging, drop trading, did they do something to it? I tried the other day to put like 35m onto my pure... I went to 2nd floor lummy on a f2p world and none of the items showed up... Jw'in.

 

All Jagex knows is what IP you are using it from. Since one IP can house dozens or even hundreds of computers, there's no way to tell if you are on the same PC or if your "brother" is just playing from his laptop.

 

Not sure, my friend drop traded without problem just a few days ago. Multi logging is much better though as you don't have the risk of others taking your items.

 

I don't they do much about multi-logging. If they do, It won't be a perm ban

 

I've never seen anyone get banned for multi logging, it is against the rules but honestly Jagex can only see the IP so they have no idea of telling whether it's on the same computer or not. A few of their rules that exist they aren't even on the lookout for people who break them, they're just there to scare players.
