Banned on rs

Well I already made a thread on the Tribot forums about this, but I thought I might as well here.

I just logged into one of my botting accounts after being offline for half a day. After 20 seconds standing at a bank I got dced. Banned for 2 days via a bot busting thing. This account is 7+ years old with no previous offences.

So I log into another account, and after the same amount of time the same thing happened. On this acc I didn't look like a bot or anything. I had only botted on it for about 7 hours in total.

My question - have they flagged my ip or something? I've read a lot about it but people seem to differ on whether they actually do. If they have, what do I do?
I was botting (using tribot):

Lobs at catherby on the first account that got banned

Mining coal at lumbridge on the second acc

Rock crabs on the acc that didn't get banned

Also, I'm not sure if it would of made any difference, but the two accounts that got banned were logged on through the tribot client, and the one that wasn't banned was just in a browser.

 

there was a jmod right next to you when you logged in then apparently

2 day bans are manual bans from jagex moderators handed out to people that are obviously botting, it's a method of deterrance but really it doesn't do much because in 2 days you can just bot again


if it's your main stop botting, next is perm


P.S - I.P flagging is illegal, unconsentualised use of personal information

 

Don't get banned again because one more report and you ass is Gone from RS

 

take a break from botting for awhile when you get back, and when botting always remember to mix things up don't just bot the same skill all day also might want to try simba

 

Lol no.. IP ranges do get flagged for goldfarming, I had a VPS that I got flagged, and the same thing that happened to the OP happened on any account I logged into. You can see these auto bans happen to advertising bots, they create an account, walk 2 steps and get banned.

If it was a manual Jmod ban, he would have been banned while botting, not 20 seconds after logging in.

Supposedly Jagex can detect what client you are using. I have never tested this myself, but if it were true then I'm sure there would be zero bots if they could instantly detect that.

I used to bot Bow strings when they where ok GP. I had 8 accounts running then suddenly 3 DC'd - Banned. About 5mins after that another 5 banned all for 14days. I thought I'd be cheeky and make a new accounts but soon as I bought members and done tut island, before even running any sort of bot on the account, b00m banned. Lol. This was about 3 weeks ago though

 

IPs do get flagged... If you are on a blacklisted IP your account will get autobanned upon logging in.
