Is anyone successfully gold farming?

Now we all know that Jagex is doing a good job preventing bots at the moment, but is anyone running a large gold farm and only receiving minimal bans?

Lately I've tried using VPS's, reducing the daily time spent botting and switching to less common bots. However, each couple days my accounts are getting banned. This is both good and bad for gold farmers. The price of gold is stabilising at $2.80/m (or around that?), so that anyone who is able to bypass their detection would be making a nice profit.

Anyways, I've decided that I'm going to start a new gold farm with 1 bot per vps, using very old accounts and botting something uncommon such as combat in a quiet spot (to sell accounts as opposed to gold).

Has anyone had any recent success in terms of bypassing bots? Any thoughts or suggestions?

EDIT: Are there any bots out that have built in breaks? Because surely botting even 8 hours straight is inhuman.

I personally have horrible luck with this, I've also tried everything you stated but can't seem to get by...

 

I have been macroing on my main recently and managed to get from 85-98 strength without a ban. The next day I returned and in the chat logs saw that some 'noob' got mad because I wouldn't tell him where to get a partyhat from...? Anyway he reported me and the following day I received a 2 day ban (next ban is perm).

Since then I've been botting in a very deserted area and have had no problems. It seems that Jagex actually does rely on their report system quite a bit, who would've thought? >_<

 

It's definitely harder to gold farm. Multiple variables to detect you may be botting. The ip of the vpn, the script, the client and the length of how long you run them. It's almost not worth it if you're constantly banned. As for the built in breaks, that is client sided.

Yeah I know that but was wondering if any clients has built in breaks. I know that Tribot doesn't (I think).

I've been maintaining a 10-20 bot farm on a high ban rate bot over the past month.

I've lost 29 accounts due to perm bans. I still make profits since all invested per account is about 1m 07, each account makes an average of about 2m before being permed.

Hasn't been that great for me. But the experience has been priceless. I've really learned a lot. I do it more for the fun since the money has been terrible. Pretty sure I've spent as much as I've made. Which is about $500.

What NPC are you botting?

I'm thinking about setting up 20 or so bots all with:

- 1 VPS per account.
- Start them off with waterfall quest (30/30)
- Botting them to 70/60/40 and then to 75/99/70 at my preferred location (haven't been receiving bans here). PM me if you want it.
