About me:

Well , I'm 21 years of ages , from New Zealand. I have a passion for Underwater Photography which I decided to post a thread on in the GFX section. I am a New grad Structional Engineer that's currently doing work experience to finish my degree which is paid. I've done a bit of work down in Christchurch assessing buildings and what not after the quake , and I'm currently on call to go over to japan

This is what I've learned from it, you see the pictures on the news and what not... you think wow that's horrible. But it's not until you actually go there and see it for your self , in indescribable.

Why should I be a User Educator?

Well , this is all ironic the day's I make my guides are the day that the UE lessen it's guidelines . Which makes it looks like I'm doing it because it's easier. Well - I'm not. I'm the type of person that sits back and reads things , not necessarily posting. I find that doing this you learn a lot more about the way to handle certain situations and posts.
I'm quite a mature person , and always ready to help someone if need be.

I'm not really good and talking about myself or 'talking my self up' so I'll leave it at that.

Guides:

1. Cropping Images: The fast an simple way

Reason for making this guide: I have seen threads in multiple sub forums time and time again where people have not correctly cropped there pictures ,It stretches not just my screen but other people screens and is annoying. I think this guide is simple to follow and fast to do so its not that big of an inconvenience.

2. Ventrilo: Setup and Basic use

Reason for making this guide: Upoin the release of the 'Unofficial Sythe.org Vetrilo' I thought It would be good to have a Ventrilo guide that is easy to follow , and show the basic use's of Ventrilo. I believe if you've never used Ventrilo than this guide will help you immensely.

Your Ventrilo guide is nice, and has a ton of pictures. But, that's somewhat a negative also, as it would be better to even out your guides with yourself explaining and accompany the guide with some pictures.

As for your cropping guide, I like how it is organized and the layout is nice. The topic isn't that great, as many people probably already know this, but it is nicely formatted and presented.

Thanks Hookups. I do agree with the written side of things , but you got to think that people who want t learn how to do something find pictures easier to follow. These guides were made so that anyone could understand whats going on.
