Need some help with transparency

it shows up as my avvy and its not transparent

 

You have to make the background transparent then save it as an interlaced PNG to preserve the transparency.

 

What about now? I can still see the borders :S

 

Try making the orb 5-6 pixels smaller and see if that helps any.

While saving it as an interlaced PNG is the method used, it also depends on your browser at times.
