Transgender 10 year old, thoughts?

I just found this and thought it was kinda weird, I agree with the grandpa tbh

 

I agree I think this was generally the parents fault in this case as the kid doesn't even know if he is hetero or homosexual at this point and knows literally nothing about females\males yet. I think this was just poor parenting skills at it's best.

 

This young "girl" most likely saw something on TV about a transgender person and decide they wanted to try it out. Kids of that age are influenced by anything and everything around them, so something like this is most definitely not a "life choice" already.

It is even worse that the parents can support something like this. They should know that at that age a persons brain is not fully developed and cannot determine truly something major like that. It is obviously because of influence of TV or perhaps a favorite movie "she" saw. Its sad to see that something like this is allowed by this kid's parents.

 

I would send that kid to boot camp or something before it's too late.

 

I agree with the Grandpa, I'd make him stay as a male until he is 18 and able to make his own descisions

 

Once again the grandpa is right... Bad parents, I wouldn't put up with my son looking like that....His parents aren't even trying to change it. Which is sad.

 

Agree with the grandpa completely. It would be so weird for this to happen in my house.

 

I don't see what the problem is at all. She clearly knows what she wants and who she is.

I'm happy for her, it's her own decision and as long as she's comfortable with it, and not forced then she has every right to do this.

 

It has been happening since 18 months I doubt the TV had any influence at that age.

 

Kids dress up all the time at that age, I know I probably did, at that age it doesn't matter you can do whatever you want. Dressing up at 18 months of age doesn't mean your a transgender.

 

I used to dress up in a mini mouse costume when I was not even 3 years old and i'm perfectly fine now

One of two things will happen;

A) This heshe will hit puberty, and will have mass amounts of testosterone released into the body, in which the heshe will either be naturally attracted to females (lesbian?????)

or

B) This heshe will hit puberty, and will have mass amounts of estrogen released into the body, in which the heshe will either be naturally attracted to males (gay?????)

But in both cases, if this poor child is satisfied with dressing as a female, then that might not change.

Anyone who says that a 10 year old can't be sure of their sexuality/gender is uneducated. Talk to ANY transsexual and you will find that nearly all of them, if not all, will tell you that they knew from a very young age (as early as 3-5) that something was not right. Also, there is a HUGE difference in a gender identity crisis and simply being homosexual. Just because a homosexual may exhibit traits of the opposite sex does not mean that they mentally and physically feel like the opposite sex, or even have any desire to be the other sex.

 

Honestly, in the modern day world this is becoming more accepting. Do I accept this personally? Absolutely NOT, as the grandfather had stated it's the parents fault. The parents could have told the little boy that being a girl is much better, etc... And got into his head at a young age. Parenting skills play a big role in this boy's life and it seems as if he will live a long twisted life now because of such a young decision.

I myself would not accept this, i would tell my boy to straighten up and that he has no idea what he is talking about. Dress up at a young age is alright, but when you make it a everyday thing it becomes creepy, and what the parents have done is let this continue and become a part of his life style.

Sure, when I was young I can vouch I have 4 sisters, and they only have one brother, ME! So of course they had to dress brother up and fuck with him but hey I turned out alright, theres no thong in this pants. I'm proud to be a man, so thats where it makes you realize that it is even more of the parents fault! But my dad made a man out of me, made me ride motorcycles, shaved my head, took me fishing, and beat my ass with the belt when i got out of control.

 

as stange as it seems if the person wants to do that and is happy doing it and feels right it is only right they are allowed to be them selfs and accept the consiquences which come with there choice respect to IT? lol and the parents to accepting it

 

Because transgenderism is the same as homosexuality... oh wait.

If the kid is happy then what exactly is the problem? If a 10 year-old would prefer to be referred to as she rather than he, why is this of concern to anybody (especially a bunch of strangers undoubtedly ignorant of the circumstances surrounding this entire ordeal)?
