Transferring Characters?

Hey guys. I was just curious if it would be able to treansfer a character from one account to another account and if so where could I do this? Say I wanted to buy a level 85 from someone and wanted to transfer it to my account so it cannot be recovered back. Could this be done? All help appreciated.

 

You can do this if the names AND email addresses are the same.

I believe you can get your Real-ID name changed for a fee, and changing your email address is fairly simple.

 

What.... why would blizzard make you pay to change your name?

All you need to do is have the same last name.

 

I have a friend who has an account that is under his mother's name because he made it when he was under the age of 13. He now shows up as his mom through Real - ID. He did it and I believe it costs $15 or something around there.

 

So my email has to be similar to the email of the previous owners account?
