Zerker or Range Tank?

I can't decide what I'm gonna do with my account.. I wanted to be a zerker, but now I kind of want to be a range tank :/

Current stats:
60 atk
61 str
41 def (quested)
75 range
68 hp
63 mage
52 pray

What do you guys think?

 

Bro, a tank with 99 range, 70 prayer, & 75 defence with a dragon fire shield will destroy everything in it's path. Go for 99 defence eventually too, to do that get 70 attack and 78 strength which will still keep you ranged based but give you the best possible melee DPS for training defence with a whip.

 

Tank ranger, rune crossbow seems to be a really good weapon atm.

 

That's exactly what I was thinking. Except staying at 52 pray. I don't see a need to get higher.

 

Nig ranger, unbeatable.

 

Tank ranger It does take a lot of work tho

 

Tanks are invincible but zerkers are more fun since you can get crazy dds specs

If you want to be op, go for the tank but if you just want to have fun, go zerk.

 

I want both, but I think range tank will be really fun as well. I think i'm gonna go range tank

 

Nigger rangers are the best imo...

Cheap as fuck to pk but you wreck in rune+dhide.

 

Depends where you want to pk.
If you're just into edge, a tank may be worth it. If you're willing to put the the extra time to get void/willing to risk barrows.

 

Zerker, thats what im doing. Range tanks imo are less effective and harder to control

 

I've had both back in EOC (well, maxed my zerker ~08, ranged tank 2010), honestly I found the zerker more fun. And appropriately, I'm half way through making another one :3 up to you though mate.
