Favorite Nicolas Cage Movie

I'd have to say National Treasure was a gem. The rock wasn't bad either only because Sean Connery. The one where we swapped faces with John Travolta made me want to kill myself.

Ghost rider, drive angry, sorcerers apprentice were all shit.

Kickass was okay because of mclovin. Next was also 5/10. Conair=10/10.

 

Terrible actor if I could add. But if I had to choose I'd say gone in 60 seconds.

 

Of course everyone is in agreement that he's a terrible actor but that hasn't inhibited my ability to enjoy a film.

I think Zac Efron sucks but that doesn't stop me from singing and dancing to every high school musical.

Haven't seen Gone in 60 seconds, have you seen any of the movies I listed that you can compare it to?

How does he get a gig in like every second movie? Horrible actor. I'd probably go the National treasures purely on their success and I didn't mind the storyline. I'm always interested in History (Even though it's US History and I'm Australian), so that's what kept me interested.

Definitely not his acting.

 

Yeah I have no idea how he lands so many rolls when his acting is so painful to watch. Any of his serious films are laughable.

Still gotta love stealing the declaration of independence to stop someone from stealing the declaration of independence.

 

How is this man an Academy Award winner? It baffles me - but I do like National Treasure (both of them, excited for the third) and Gone in 60 Seconds.

 

Definitely Next. A lot of people hate on it, but I actually liked it a lot.

I liked the Family Man, was a pretty great christmas flick. National Treasures were good too. Gone in 60 seconds was ehhhh and I liked the original better tbh

 

I felt that next was verrrry average, not saying it was terrible. Some parts were enjoyable but the whole idea of it was idk...

If you watch it when you're older i'm sure you'll still like it.

You guys keep bringing up Gone in 60 seconds. I might have to give it a chance but I find it difficult to bring myself to watching nic cage movies by myself without wanting to blow my brains out.

 

Yep i would go with national treasure series.
I heard a 3rd was going to come out but sadly no details or got canceled.

face off - i thought it was a kick ass movie
Bad lieutenant - pretty fucked up movie but good none the less
lord of war - great fucking movie!
national treasure's movies - enjoyed these a lot
family man - not action packed but i thought it was decent.
fast times at ridgemont high - fucking classic
wind talkers - not good but not bad. Once is enough for me

I havent liked anything he's made in years. He's a great actor who has taken shit roles to pay off debts. He is a complete fucking retard financially. I think he's been divorced like 5+ times and recently filed bankruptcy

Stolen was a good watch; might give national treasure a try.

 

See, that's the thing. The idea of it I loved. It was a few years ago that I watched it so I may be misremembering it.. You know what I'll watch it tonight and let you know lmao.

 

Tresspassing is a decent one where his acting is okay
