    Hey everybody
This is my guide written by myself on how to add a password to folders to protect the contents of a document. You can use this guide to have account details protected and so on. Please comment and rate the guide itself :)

    1) First of all your going to want to put the document that you want protected in a new file called whatever.

    2) Right click on the folder - find 'send to' and send it to a compressed zip file. Click yes to the box that comes up.

    3) This next step will be different if you do or don't have Winrar. If you do you need to right click on it and explore but otherwise just get into it.

    5) Now go to File and 'Add Password'

    6) Simply add the password and then your done.

    7) Congratz, you're secret information is password protected

All feedback, comments, advice and spelling errors will be gladly appreciated.

My friend has this thing where whenever you open mozzila it asks you for a password, if you enter it then it remembers your passes on all the sites and if you don't you have to enter the pass on every site..Know what that is?

This guide is very to the point. Although it is a step by step guide, it is still quite good. The use of pictures helps a ton as it makes it very easy to see what to do. Adding a nice title to the top of the guide would just make it look a bit better and more professional though.

I thank you very much for posting this guide. It's on a very helpful subject, I liked how you've chose to use a plentiful ammount of pictures and how it's step by step. For next time, you could a little more in-dept with the guide and explain things a little bit more, but overall a great guide.

P.S. I liked the guide so much, that I'm going to recommend it to be verified.

Great guide, makes it look simple.
The mozilla thing is so if theres multiple users of your machine they cant get onto your passworded sites and logins without the master password so its for pcs with more than one person. I dont know its name though

Thanks for the feedback, means a lot :)
Might start writing guides more often, the hardest part is the originality.

Thanks once again. I use mozilla and it saves my passwords for almost everything besides Runescape. On forums and such I just use the login next time or remember me ;)

No no, his does as well but you have to enter a password when you open firefox so it remembers your passwords.

    Example:

I open it and enter the right pass all my passwords are there and remembered.

I open it and enter the wrong pass none of the passwords are remembered.

    Nice guide.

However I knew this before I read your guide and I do not recommend it as a file locking solution. All files can be deleted and unlocked with a few ZIP unlockers.

General computer users won't be able to open it however it is easy for an advanced user to crack this and get access.
