    Sorry Im F2P Grand Master

    The Definitive RS3 Guide

The following guide is a work in progress, I will try and update it as much as I can with useful information, if there is something you would like to see in this guide then please inbox me. Any comments about the guide I would also prefer to be inboxed to me, as of now it's nothing special, I'd just like to gather as much information in one place as I can for you.

Howdy, Essentially I'm sick to death of people selling horrible low quality guides on money making, training spots, account creating guides etc etc. So i'm going to make 1 giant RS3 guide for you all.

This guide will aim to cover:

    Money Making
    Combat Training
    Maximum Efficiency Skill Training
    Creating Accounts From Scratch

This guide will probably stretch across multiple pages and will be completed over time, I'm a pretty busy guy so I don't have the time to sit down and write this in it's entirety right now. I'll make a good start on it though.

I will start with probably the most popular section here on Sythe, Money Making.

    Money Making Methods:

    High Level Combat Methods

    Queen Black Dragon - 5-6m/Hr

The profit rate assumes 20 kills per hour. Your actual profit may be higher or lower depending on your speed.

This is obviously better with max stats but hey, I wouldn't recommend this if you're not using turmoil, overloads and super antifires, it's just not gonna be worth the hassle.

Fastest set up will be torva drygores with your staple dual wield action bar set up.

The Queen Black Dragon is one of the best monsters to kill for money. There is not much variation in the value of her drops, especially compared to bosses whose average profit per kill is largely due to the price of a handful of rare drops. The QBD is fought in four phases, each progressively more difficult than the last. After depleting her health in each of the four phases and activating the four dragonkin artefacts, the QBD will return to her slumber and you will be able to descend from the platform and claim your reward from the dragonkin coffer.
It is highly recommended to have 96 Herblore for access to overloads and super antifire potions – and 92 or 95 Prayer for Soul Split and the combat curses Turmoil, Anguish, and Torment. As the QBD has an extremely high defence level, these, along with level 90 weaponry are highly recommended for the best accuracy. Additionally, 96 Summoning for the pack yak familiar will greatly increase the number of kills possible between banking.

The QBD has no weakness, allowing you to use any combat style. Melee offers the best defence from her attacks but requires you to keep close; Ranged is weak to her melee and neutral to her ranged attacks; Magic is strong against her melee but weak to her ranged attacks.

The standard attacks that the QBD uses are that of melee, ranged, and dragonfire. Her ranged attack is far more accurate and powerful than her melee attack, so average damage from her normal attacks may be reduced by standing within melee distance of her. Her dragonfire attack cannot be fully protected from, and will always deal some amount of typeless damage, typically between 150 and 750. Without any dragonfire protection, this attack can deal up to 2,500 damage.

During the first wave, the only special attack that the QBD may use is the flame wall. When she is preparing this attack, the game chat will read, "The Queen Black Dragon takes a huge breath." This attack may be completely avoided by running through the gap in the wall. However, if using melee, activating an ability to attack the QBD when the flame wall is one square away will allow passage through the flame wall without taking any damage. If improperly timed, 750 damage is dealt instead of the usual 1,500 damage from letting the flame wall pass through you. Once the QBD's health for the first phase has been depleted, she will continuously spit out giant worms until the dragonkin artefact in the center of the platform is activated.

After this it's a rinse and repeat situation, when you see the text "The QBD prepares to breathe extremely hot flames", run to the SIDE, not backwards, will still take 1900 per attack instea of 450. The other thing to watch out for is the tortured soul on the far corners of the platforms who charge up a time stop spell, ALWAYS kill these, do not try and race against them, it's not worth getting caught on the final stage and dying.

    Frost Dragons - 3-4m/hr

The profit rate assumes 225 kills per hour. Your actual profit may be higher or lower depending on your speed.

A lot of people kill them differently to me, During my testing i'm pretty sure i've discovered the most efficient method of killing them.

Obviously you will need 85 Dungeoneering for this method, there are currently no other locations available to kill Frosts.

Again, you want your best melee gear and Drygores, If don't have these then just work backwards until you get to the best gear you've got / can afford.

    Overloads, Super Antifires, Pack Yak.

Bag set up will look different for each different set of gear so I can't give you anything specific for now, 2 overload flasks = 1 hour, bare that in mind while gearing up, the amount of times i've seen people take like 8 flasks then need to leave after using 2 of them is just silly.

You should invest in some magic notepaper, last I checked it was around 1.5k per one, it will make your life a lot easier as it gives the ability to note items such as the frost bones. Your yak should be filled with prayer flasks, you've got no reason to not turmoil the entire trip, You're making plenty of profit. Food is not needed, use a vamp scrimshaw and soulsplit when needed.

Frost dragons are commonly killed for their 100% drop of frost dragon bones, worth 15,585 coins each. 85 Dungeoneering is required to access the resource dungeon in which these dragons reside. Using Soul Split, a pack yak familiar, and high level weapons, it is possible to get upwards of 225 kills per hour, banking as needed. Although Winter Storage may be used to bank up to 150 bones per hour remotely, this method does not account for this ability.
The main danger frost dragons pose is their ability to recoil damage. After the dragon has been engaged in combat for a fixed period of time, a blue orb will begin to circle the dragon. When this orb is active, any damage that would have been dealt to the dragon will instead be reflect back to the one fighting the dragon. If using abilities such as Sever, Assault, and Destroy, the frost dragon will most likely not be able to activate the orb before being killed. Food is not required, as Soul Split, Regenerate, Sacrifice, and Guthix's Blessing may be used to heal. However, it's recommended to bring about 3 rocktails in case of an emergency heal. When finished with a trip, banking may be done via the TokKul-Zo, selecting the Fight Caves option in order to gain proximity to a bank and fairy ring. If The Brink of Extinction has been completed you could select the Fight Cauldron option and burn yourself in the lava there to quickly restore your prayer and life points.

Once banking and resupplying has been done, use the fairy ring near the Fight Caves and code a•i•q will bring the player to Mudskipper Point, a few steps south of the entrance to the Asgarnian Ice Dungeon. For those of you who have no completed that quest, your closest teleport is Port Sarim load stone.

    Lower Level Methods

I understand not everybody is maxed combat with Torva and Drygores, If you did you probably wouldn't be in need of my help to make money by now. So, These are not all that great, but they're enough to get some of your lower levels started.

    Mort Myre Fungi - 1.3 - 1.9m/hr

Warning! There is a small risk of dying for lower level players. Ghasts do not hit very hard, but the damage does add up over time. Players with low constitution levels should wear armour to boost their lifepoints.

Collecting mort myre fungi is very profitable as it is the secondary ingredient for making super energy potions. While wearing Morytania legs, players will receive double the amount of fungi when collecting. However, make sure there are at least two inventory spaces when collecting, otherwise players will only receive one fungus. Casting bloom affects rotting objects in the 8 squares around the player and consumes between 10 and 60 prayer points. Players should use a location surrounded by 3 rotting logs to increase the chances of obtaining mort myre fungus. An Ivlandis flail or blessed sickle (b) can be placed on the action bar to cast bloom with hotkeys.
Inventory setup should include a prayer renewal potion and one 4-dose prayer potion .

Each prayer renewal dose will recover level * 4 + 120 prayer points over 5 minutes, while a prayer potion dose will recover level * 2.5 + 70 prayer points instantly. Players with lower prayer levels may need to bring more than 1 prayer potion.

First, use the fairy ring network to teleport to b•k•r. Drink a dose of prayer renewal, stand in the middle of the 3 rotting logs and cast bloom. Mort myre fungi will not spawn every time. Always pick the northern log last because when picked, you will return to the middle, removing the need to click back. After a full inventory, teleport to the Fight Caves with the TokKul-Zo to bank and repeat using the fairy ring just north. If you have less than 300 prayer points after banking, drink two doses of a prayer potion. Alternatively, if you haven't got a TokKul-Zo or a deposit chest, use the fairy ring to bank in Zanaris, although this is slightly slower.

If you have completed Deadliest Catch, you will have unlocked a deposit chest along the eastern banks of the River Salve. A short distance north-east of this, shown in the picture on the right, are 3 rotting logs within a 3x3 area. Simply cast bloom, collect, and deposit until your prayer is drained. Use the Fight Caves bank and fairy ring to bank and return as needed. Using the bank deposit chest, this method can collect up to 1,500 mort myre fungi per hour, which is a profit of 1,881,981.

If you're using the above method, the best spot to do this in would be here.

Alternatively, players with 68 divination or greater can use sign of the porter IV to bank the fungus. This method will reduce the need for bank trips and increase the yield. Each sign of the porter will transport 20 fungi at a cost of Coins 100 220.75 per charge. Profit per hour will be greater than that of banking at the Fight Caves but be less than that of using the deposit chest due to the cost of porters.

    Cave Slime 1m+/hr

Cave slime in the Lumbridge Swamp Caves always drop between 1 and 6 swamp tar, which is currently worth 418 coins each.

The easiest way to get to the dungeon is by teleporting to Lumbridge, going into the castle basement with a light source, and enter the swamp caves by the entrance next to Mistag. Head south and west, avoiding wall beasts, until you reach an area with three cave slime. Be careful of gas in the caves, as if you have an open light source (i.e. torch, oil lamp, etc.) the gas will explode dealing high damage and extinguishing your light source. A bullseye lantern or similar is recommended.

Attack the three cave slimes in the area with Magic or Ranged. At a high enough combat level you can more quickly kill them with melee. They are level 38 and only have 950 lifepoints, so oftentimes a single hit is enough to kill them. When all three are dead, pick up the swamp tar and wait for them to respawn (it takes about ten seconds from the first one being killed). The cave slimes do use poison, but this only hits a maximum of 13 damage at a time and should not be bothered with unless you have low lifepoints. The cave slime drop an average of 3 swamp tar per monster, and you can kill between 600-900 of them per hour at a medium combat level. This means you can collect between 1,800 and 2,700 tar per hour , depending on your combat level. Sell the swamp tar on the Grand Exchange when finished.
